About the farm:

Dumerso is a family business, owning 3 hectares of coffee for 20 years, based in Yirgacheffe and spreading to several other areas in Ethiopia. They have maintained the tradition of growing, harvesting and processing coffee over the years. This preserves the incredible and sustainable taste of coffee from their family farm. During the season, more than 650 people work together, 95% of whom are women. This allows you to feel the aroma of cherries in coffee, which goes through an incredibly thorny path from washing each bean to fermenting for 72 hours and drying the beans to a certain moisture content. Thanks to the joint efforts of the local population, we can now touch the incredible cherry coffee from Dumerso.

The bag: The Film used in the bags is earth-friendly. It is made mostly from renewable wood pulp. The wood pulp portion is biodegradable. It takes just 84 days to get a healthy compost in a backyard, home composting environment. The remaining material (Polyethylene (PE)) is designed to make it disintegrate significantly faster than standard plastic.
